Your Home. Your Region. Your Future.
In partnership with Club 720, Thrive West Central is taking a proactive approach to housing, focused on the people who make this city work every day. We are committed to building stronger housing solutions for current and future residents. This page is intended for both homebuyers and renters to explore available resources, better understand their options, and share feedback that can help inform future housing efforts in the community.
Find the Support that Matches Your Needs
Everyone’s housing journey looks different. This page is designed to help current and future residents find housing-related resources in one place. Through Club 720, you can explore programs, tools, and support based on where you are in your housing journey. Whether you’re preparing to buy, looking for rental support, or exploring your options as a future resident, the sections below can help point you in the right direction.
Eligible first-time and repeat homebuyers may qualify for down payment and closing cost assistance through the Hoosier Homes program. Income limits are based on the property’s county location and household size.
Hoosier Homes Plus is available exclusively to residents purchasing in Vigo County and provides 5% down payment assistance.
The standard Hoosier Homes program is available in Clay, Putnam, Parke, Sullivan, Vermillion, and Montgomery Counties and offers up to 5% in combined down payment and closing cost assistance.
Assistance is provided as a 7-year forgivable second mortgage with no monthly payments and no interest and may be used toward the purchase of an eligible primary residence.
Additional resources for renters and residents exploring housing options are also available through Club 720.
Are you a Partner Serving the Region?
Club 720 is designed to help organize housing-related resources in one place for current and future residents in the region. If your organization offers a program, service, or support that could benefit homebuyers, renters, or residents exploring their options, we encourage you to get involved. This is an opportunity to increase visibility, strengthen local connection, and support a more informed and accessible housing experience for the community.
Housing stability is workforce stability.
Club 720 helps employers support employees who want to rent, buy, or stay rooted in the community, without becoming housing experts themselves.
We provide a simple, confidential pathway for employees to explore housing options, access down payment assistance, and connect with trusted local partners.
Club 720 helps banks and lenders connect eligible homebuyers with financing options that align with local housing goals and community priorities.
The platform allows participating lenders to showcase locally aligned mortgage products, down payment assistance programs, renovation financing, and other housing solutions directly to residents seeking guidance on their path to homeownership.
Club 720 provides Realtors the opportunity to help ready buyers navigate available homes, assistance programs, financing pathways, and closing steps.
Club 720 helps builders bring housing opportunities into the Hub so local demand, financing, buyer readiness, and delivery partners can be better aligned.
If you’re interested in building housing that meets local demand and aligns with community housing efforts, we’d love to connect.
Bring the Hoosier Homes Down Payment Assistance Program to your current and future residents, and learn how your organization can help strengthen the program through investment, expanding assistance opportunities up to the full 5% available to eligible homebuyers.
