A Consumer-First Marketplace for Housing Finance

Club 720 is a housing marketplace designed to help consumers find the people, programs, products, and housing opportunities that can help them reach their housing goals. Lenders are an important part of that marketplace.

But Club 720 is not a pay-to-play referral platform.

Financial institutions do not purchase access to consumers, and Marketplace participation does not guarantee referrals, loan volume, or preferred status. Instead, lenders participate by bringing products and services that provide meaningful value to consumers and respond to documented needs in the local housing marketplace.

Our goal is simple: Help consumers find the best available financing fit for their housing goal while helping communities understand where strong lending solutions exist—and where gaps remain.

How the Club 720 Lender Marketplace Works

The Platform Inclusion and Governance Policy

Each participating community adopts a Platform Inclusion and Governance Policy that establishes the standards used to determine which programs and products may be included in the local marketplace.

The Policy helps ensure that participation is consistent, transparent, and centered on consumer value. Marketplace inclusion is not based on paying for placement, institutional size, market share, sponsorship, advertising spend, personal relationships.

Marketplace inclusion is based on whether the lender’s product or service meets the applicable standards and addresses a meaningful marketplace need.

Affordability

We look beyond the advertised interest rate. Relevant considerations may include:

  • Lender fees.
  • Points.
  • Mortgage insurance.
  • Down payment requirements.
  • Cash-to-close requirements.
  • Closing-cost assistance.
  • Down payment assistance.
  • Monthly payment impact.

Financial institutions interested in participating in a Club 720 Marketplace are invited to begin by completing the Lender Marketplace Capacity Assessment.
